TEF Transport
TEF Transport has being operating for nearly forty years in Scarborough.
In November 2004 Andy Mclaughlin (a former transport manager of the company) invested in the company to become shareholder and managing director.

Six months after the takeover TEF Transport secured a three year contract with printing manufacturers Polestar Greaves who are also based in Scarborough. The addition of this contract and additional new work from: York Mailing and Allied Glass enabled TEF to increase their fleet to 13 tractor units and 18 trailers.

In addition to the new work gained during 2005 and 2006, TEF Transport secured a three year contract with UPM Raflatac in conjunction with Kuehne + Nagel in January 2007. This additional work enabled TEF to increase their fleet by a further 7 tractor units and 10 trailers.
The addition of this new contract and the increased work from our existing customers has enabled us to increase our fleet to 24 tractor units and 32 trailers.

The management team at TEF have a vast knowledge of the print and print related industries which are extremely time sensitive and demanding.
Other time sensitive work carried out is for the food industry with the contract for McCain foods dry freight at both the Scarborough and Whittlesey sites and Allied Glass based in Leeds.

TEF Transport has a proactive approach to their customers needs and requirements and a 'can do' attitude which our customers have come to expect.
